• About Handmill Accountants in Stroubridge

Handmill Accountants is owned and managed by Stacey Handley and Angela Miller, both highly skilled with each having over 20 years’ experience in accounts production, bookkeeping, tax returns, CIS submissions and VAT services.

The company was originally set up as R H Bird Accountants in 1983 by Roger Bird, with Stacey and Angela taking over the company in April 2016.  The company has always prided itself on providing small businesses with bookkeeping, tax and general accountancy services, providing trustworthy advice to clients in a friendly and jargon free way in an ever changing financial environment.

Stacey joined the company as a trainee accounts clerk fresh from school in 1996. She has worked her way up through various roles, and now has direct responsibility for hundreds of clients who need their books and figures kept up to date and meeting all current criteria for submission to HMRC.

She gained her AAT qualification whilst working for the firm and as a result has an in-depth knowledge of payroll, bookkeeping and accounts preparation.

In her spare time Stacey has developed a passion for crochet as well as other arts and crafts, and she also enjoys socialising with friends and family.  In warmer months she enjoys walking and spends many hours exploring the local area on her evening walks.

Angela joined the company in 2005, having spent the previous 9 years as a legal cashier for solicitors’ firms in the Midlands area whilst she studied for her AAT qualification.

Her studies sparked her enthusiasm for both personal and business tax, and she now handles the accounts production, Corporation Tax and Personal Tax affairs for the firm’s clients, as well as having a full understanding of all other areas of services provided by the firm.

Angela enjoys baking, and loves to solve jigsaw puzzles, as well as meals out with family.

She also has a passion for Lego which has seen her collection grow to the point where it's probably a bit much.
